Visitng the Nursery: We will contact you as soon as possible after you have successfully registered and arrange a meeting at the Nursery for you to look around. This way, you will get a chance to see our beautiful location and meet the Day Care manager, as well as the team in person.
Subsidies: In the meantime, you can take care of all the aspects regarding subsidies.
Settling In: Since children have highly individual needs, we will customize the settling in process to the needs of your child.
Day Care: The regular day care will start after your child has successfully gone through the familiarization process.
Nussbaum Day Care Nursery accepts care vouchers (Betreuungsgutscheine) issued by the following communities: Oberägeri and Stadt Zug. To be eligible for vouchers, you have to be a resident of one of these communities. Please feel free to contact us for further information.
Nussbaum Day Care Nursery is centrally located in Oberägeri. The nearby lake and the playgrounds in our neighborhood offer the kids plenty of opportunities to make experiences.
The children are cared for in the daycare center mostly all day, in a group of 12 children. The groups of children are mostly mixed age from 3 months to 5 years. The teachers have a degree in childcare.
Every child determines the length of his or her own settling-in period.
Following the Berlin settling-in method, which we employ at our day care nursery, we start off with an entry meeting.
The purpose of the settling-in period ist to establish a stable relationship between your child and his or her personal carer. The sense of security made possible by a trustful relationship with the child carer is the foundation on which successful educational processes are built, and a healthy start for your child at our nursery.
We are open from 07:00 to 18:30 from Monday to Friday.
We give each child’s individual personality a great deal of attention, making sure that, driven by their curiosity and guided by us, all the kids in our care can safely discover the world. The way in which we have designed our rooms allows the children to learn and make discoveries, gathering a multitude of learning experiences in our various areas of learning (Music, Nature and Technology, Building and Construction, Language, Social Environment, Maths, Creativity and Exercise).
At Nussbaum Day Care Nursery every meal is prepared fresh in our kitchen on the premises.
It is our aim to provide your child with seasonal foods and a balanced diet. We invite the kids to assist us in preparing our meals, allowing them to develop a natural relationship with food.

You can have your child cared for between one and five days a week in the das care center. You can also take your child to the nursery for a minimum of two half days.
We do not close for holidays, however over Christmas and New Year we are closed for a few days.

Nussbaum Day Care Nursery has room for two mixed-age groups of (infants and children between three months and school age).
It is basically the parents’ responsibility to obtain sufficient health, accident and liability insurance. For events and accidents that the care facility may be held liable for, the day care nursery has obtained extensive liability insurance.

For the protection of other children, sick children may not be cared for in the nursery.
The rates at the Nursery are the same for every month, independent of the number of days the particular month has. Absences caused by illness, bank holidays or vacation are taken into account in the all-inclusive price.
